Second team Academic All-America®, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) … first team All-Ohio Valley Conference by coaches and communications directors, and Phil Steele … FCS Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Academic All-Star Team … chosen to the 2019 Academic All-District® Team, as selected by CoSIDA … two-time OVC Specialist of the Week … STATS FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week (Nov. 25) after scoring a program record 17 kicking points at Jacksonville State (Nov. 23) … also tied Eastern’s mark of five field goals in a game at JSU … his five field goals came from distances of 24, 25, 28, 34 and 50 yards (Alex Shelton, snapper and Phillip Richards, holder) … finished the 2019 season 18-for-22 on field goal attempts with three of his misses coming from 40 yards or more away … went 17-for-18 on attempts from inside the 40 yard line … made all 37 of his extra-point attempts … kicked off 55 times for an average of 49.8 yards per kickoff and five touchbacks … led the OVC in scoring with 7.6 points per game … was second in the conference in field goal percentage (81.8 percent) and field goals per game (1.50 per game) … ranked ninth in the nation in field goals per game and 12th in field goal percentage … in a driving rain, and on a completely saturated field, hit four field goals and three extra-points to account for 15 of EKU’s 33 points in a win at Eastern Illinois (Oct. 26) … was 3-for-3 on field goals against Tennessee Tech (Nov. 16).

FCS Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Academic All-Star Team … appeared in all 11 games … made 15-of-21 field goal attempts … connected on all 33 point-after attempts … hit a season-long 43-yard field goal in the season-finale at Tennessee Tech (Nov. 17) … kicked off 60 times with 11 touchbacks and an average of 57.4 yards per kickoff … punted five times and placed four inside the 20 yard line … led the Ohio Valley Conference and finished 12th in the nation with 1.36 field goals per game … was fifth in the OVC with a 71.4 field goal percentage … two-time OVC Specialist of the Week … made three field goals in a game twice, against Southeast Missouri (Sept. 22) and at Tennessee Tech (Nov. 17) … earned the Ohio Valley Conference Medal of Honor, which is given annually to the student-athletes that achieve the highest grade point average in a conference-sponsored sport … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
